This is my personal blog, where I recount my experiences, successes, failures, sometimes cynical observations on internet marketing, pertinent issues, and where I express my opinion on whatever comes to mind…because I can.
I’m the CEO and one of the founders of Cogent Online, a performance marketing business operating out of Australia and delivering high quality, targeted and qualified, business leads across diverse segments,along with email technology services, and thought leadership, internationally.
I’m a husband, proud father, keen surfer, yoga practitioner, guitar player and globetrotter. I live in a pristine marine paradise on the east coast of Australia north of Sydney. I live the lifestyle that comes with owning an online marketing business.
I am passionately interested in the pursuit of freedom and what that means. I like to blog about my business, but from the context of an alternative to what we traditionally consider as work, and the constraints to our freedom that this implies. I like to comment of what I regard as Corporate inequity.
I believe blogging and social media give us the ability to question the previously unquestionable, to publish the previously unpublishable – unless you were a journalist of course – and to bring about true democracy without international borders. I intend to use it.
I like to "stir the pot".
Although it’s not the purpose of this site to generate money I will disclose that from time to time I′ll recommend products or services for which I receive commission. That’s the nature of what I do, however, on this site it’s likely to be product or service that I use myself in the context of building a lifestyle free from the constraints of a traditional day job, or something that’s directly relevant to what I’m writing about.
